Have You Encountered One of These School Scrapbook Problems? – Part 1
Sponsored LinksHave you been meaning to start or finish a high school scrapbook? If you have, there’s a good chance you have faced one of many issues that plague scrappers when undertaking one of these.
The good news is it doesn’t have to be tough to overcome these issues and complete your album!
I have listed the most typical issues scrappers encounter when putting together their school scrapbook :
I don’t know where to start!
I hear this a lot and its easy to understand why. High school was a massive part of your youth. Chances are a number of your present pals today were made at college. And with it spanning over many years, there are a LOT of memories you’ll want to capture in the one book.
I find its easier to split the book up into three sections – the years when you started, your middle school years and then your last years – finishing with your graduation!
This makes it a natural progression that is easily followed and organise.
I have thrown out all my old school stuff!
This might seem like a big problem at the beginning but listen to me its not as large as it seems.
There are a couple of simple, and fast things you can do to get your hands on some of your old school material.
First most education facilities have copies of their year level photographs. A decent number of these have digital/scanned in copies. You ought to be able to get in touch with your old school and get copies of these – there might be a tiny fee for this.
Get onto the Internet – if you have got a Facebook account, you should be able to find some of your old school classmates. Get in touch with them and ask if they have any of the old school stuff they do not want or use any more. I managed to get some good stuff this way.
Ultimately, go back to your old school. Tell them what you are doing and ask them if there are any materials they can part with. Old diaries, college newsletters and even a detention forms can actually add some real flavour to your next school scrapbook.
That is all for this time, remember keep an open mind when making your school scrapbook and you will be able to overcome any problem!
Keep your eyes peeled for part two!
